Taiwan: Just a Step Away from Becoming North Korea

You have to hand it to the KMT-led government of Taiwan. Last year, they were busy creating racist tracks that claimed that "educated" people "understand ECFA" and only poorly educated local yocals who speak "Taiwanese Mandarin" would question the inherent wisdom of ECFA. Now, the the KMT klowns in the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) are claiming that if Taiwan doesn't sign the ECFA right away, Taiwan, then it will be marginalized like North Korea. Can you believe they think we are that stupid? Yes, Taiwan will soon be a totally-isolated pariah state where the locals are forced to forage for grass unless we move closer to China. Someone should inform the MAC that North Korea’s biggest trading partner is China!

I love this quote from the MAC: “Taiwan’s sovereignty will be safeguarded only when the people’s right to live is safeguarded.” Translation: Beijing promises not to murder us all if we submit to the Dragon Throne and agree to be annexed by China. In return, Beijing will allow us, the glorious KMT, to continue to rule Taiwan as our own personal fiefdom, whereby we promise to continue “safeguarding” Taiwan’s sovereignty. Of course, we’ve never really given a shit about that, as Taiwan is nothing more than a “region” in our delusional greater “Republic of China” fantasies. As soon as we sign ECFA, Taiwan will become just an “economic zone” in the greater “One-China Market."
